Optical artist that I am, I've always found the phenomena of a twisting corkscrew fascinating. I tried to come up with something a little more elegant here...as a stereogram. With animations, you have to be more conscious of file size than ever, so as usual, I tried to come up with something suitable in dimension, and file size for as many viewers as possible. The motion could be much smoother with more frames, but that would mean larger files, which means longer start times from the downloads. Now is a good time to consider getting broadband.
There's 40 frames here for about 460k. Please allow time for it to fully download, and it should drip continuously.
